slow-brew passion project, lushclot began as a coagulation of ideas that guitarist, Tom Kerr (Wolfnote, Death by Dawn) had stockpiled over a hot decade in his mind and basement and then love-stakingly chiseled out during the confines of lockdown. So you could say that lushclot is in essence, a well-incubated pandemic baby, popping out in full form in 2023 when Tom teamed up with R.H (Banshee, N.N), Nathan Marshall (The Royal Foundry, Down East Day), and vocalist Rocky Mann (Midnight Peg, The Poor Choices). The unyielding drive of R.H’s bass, chaotic precision of Nathan’s drumming and Rocky’s sultry raucous, vocal stylings over Tom’s own brand of DC-inspired indie-punk create a hazmat of sound that can sure flood a vein.
