Born out of camaraderie and chaos, Last Waltzon is a four-piece art-punk group based in Montreal. The band formed in the summer of 2021, coming together through their shared love of influential groups like Women and The Velvet Underground. Comprised of Jack, Judah, Cameron, and Josh, the band creates a euphonious noise that blends unhinged punk energy with catchy pop sensibilities. Their sound is marked by vocals reminiscent of Mark E. Smith, guitars that echo the lo-fi charm of Chicago’s Twin Peaks, and basslines and drumming that nod to the angular rhythms of 1970s CAN records.
